Affinity Fostering Rated Outstanding Once Again by Ofsted

I am delighted to share the wonderful news that Affinity Fostering has once again been rated Outstanding by Ofsted, following our most recent inspection. You can read the full report here: Ofsted Report.

Achieving an Outstanding judgement is a significant accomplishment, and to receive this recognition again is a true testament to the hard work, commitment and passion of everyone connected to Affinity.

This success is not just about the agency itself – it reflects the incredible teamwork between our foster carers, their families, our dedicated staff team, and of course, the young people we are privileged to support.

At Affinity, our mission has always been clear: to enhance and empower young lives. The Ofsted inspectors recognised the way we work together to achieve this – from the warm, nurturing homes created by our foster carers, to the specialist therapeutic support and guidance provided by our staff team.

What makes me most proud is how the report highlights the positive impact we are having on children’s lives, ensuring they feel safe, valued, and given every opportunity to thrive. That is the heart of fostering – and it’s at the heart of everything we do.

I want to thank every member of the Affinity family – our foster carers who open their hearts and homes, our staff who go above and beyond every day, and the children and young people who inspire us continually. This Outstanding result belongs to all of you.

While we are proud of this achievement, we also know that our journey doesn’t stop here. We will continue to innovate, to strengthen our therapeutic service, and to work in partnership with local authorities, families, and communities to give young people the very best care possible.
