International Book Giving Day 2021 - Books for our your Young People & Birth Children

Dear Carers,

Please see the ‘Gift a Book’ Poster attached.

February 14th 2021 is International Book Giving Day, which is supported in over 44 countries!

This event is all about getting books into the hands of as many children as possible, with, shockingly, as many as 1 in 8 disadvantaged children not owning a single book.

At Affinity, we fully support the importance of books in enhancing and empowering young lives. We are delighted to announce that we would love to gift a book to each young person in the Affinity family, namely the young people in care and also the birth children, who all contribute to successful outcomes for our young people. All we need to know is the following, and if you email this back to Vicky (vicky.sellen@affinityfostering.com) or post it back by Sunday 14th February, we will organise the book (up to the value of £10) to be delivered directly to you!
