At Affinity Fostering, we’re thrilled to welcome a number of new foster carers into the Affinity family who have been successfully approved as foster carers over the last few months. Choosing to become a foster carer is one of the most meaningful and life-changing decisions a person can make, and we are so pleased that you’ve chosen to take this journey with us.
What makes Affinity different is the strength of our community and the depth of support we offer every step of the way. Our highly skilled Social Work, Children's Engagement, Finance, and Management teams provide consistent, professional guidance and support, ensuring that every carer feels valued, informed, and supported.
We’re proud to have dedicated Children’s Engagement Officers who work directly with our young people to ensure their voices are heard and their experiences are positive. Alongside this, our carers benefit from regular support groups, keeping-in-touch days, and our much-loved Affinity Foster Carer Conference – all designed to connect, inspire, and celebrate the incredible work our carers do.
We’re also continuing to develop our own Therapeutic Model, based no established therapeutic practices, which is already bringing clear benefits to both carers and young people. By focusing on relationships, understanding trauma, and promoting emotional well-being, we’re helping to create more stable placements and brighter futures.
At Affinity, fostering is more than just providing a home – it’s about creating opportunities, building trust, and enhancing and empowering young lives.
